Starting point is the sports center in Imst (free parking), slightly uphill following the road into Ahornweg until the Bigerweg branches off to the right. Follow the road until you reach a wooden bridge and then turn right onto the bike path until a forest road branches off on the left side. On the left side follow the footpath to Karrösten over serpentines into the village to Karrösten. Walk past the main square and briefly follow the main road downhill, then turn right into the Leitenweg and across the Wiesensteig to the war memorial. To the left of the forest road a trail forks off. Follow this beautiful downhill to Fabriksstraße and via Schwimmbadweg back to the sports center.
