The next carnival in Roppen will take place on 20.02.2028. The Roppner Fasnacht was already held regularly at the beginning of the 20th century. The roots probably reach back much further. In addition to the great carnivals such as Imst and Nassereith,
villages such as Tarrenz and Roppen have recently revived their carnival traditions and bear witness to the importance of carnival in the Imst Outdoor Region.
